1 /Booking Info

Please fill the custom enquiry form with as much detail about your event. Depending on date availability I will provide a quote and if we agree I will send an invoice with payment details.

 

There is a 50% deposit required to secure your booking and full payment is required 2 weeks before your pick up/delivery date. Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit is received, we are unable to hold bookings without payment.

Subject to availability of date, we require at least 2 weeks notice to finalise designs, confirm payment and order supplies. Bookings within the 2 week period are limited and subject to availability.  

2 / Food safety

Sweet Buttercream Co is food licensed with Sutherland Shire Council. We are happy to provide copies of our license and insurance at request to your reception venue. 

3 / Delivery or pick up

All orders can be picked up from our headquarters by appointment only during opening hours.

 

Cookies can be posted Australia wide via standard or express shipping, maximum quantities apply.

We do offer personal delivery for larger cookie orders, cakes and cupcakes. Delivery is charged according to distance, travel time and road tolls. Delivery is subject to availability, date and location and will be advised during quote. 

 

Note: Any cakes greater than 3 tiers require delivery to location and set up, this will incur extra charges. 

4 / Dietary requirements

A small selection of our menu can be substituted to gluten free, dairy free or vegan. 

​

Although we follow strict food safety procedures to avoid cross contamination, we also bake in a kitchen where gluten, dairy, soy, egg & nuts are often used in other products and therefore traces of these ingredients may be present.

5 / Design

We love creating unique one of a kind designs for your cakes or cookies and therefore will not  duplicate a picture of someone else's work. 

We prefer you send ideas related to the theme, event style or colour scheme for inspiration but if you must send pictures, under no circumstance will the designs be replicated. 

6 / Storage of your cake or cookies

Cake storage

Buttercream cakes- must be stored in the refrigerator until the start of your party. We recommend removing it from the fridge at least 2hrs before serving to guests. This maintains the appearance and also allows enough time for the cake to come to room temperature for serving. 

Fondant cakes- should be left at room temperature and should not be refrigerated, as this might alter the appearance of fondant icing and ruin fondant decorations.

Cookies storage

Royal icing and fondant cookies- most of our cookies come heat sealed for freshness, unless stated otherwise. Cookies should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Cookies that are heat sealed will stay fresh for up to 6 weeks if stored correctly in original packaging.

7 / Cancellation policy

​

In the event that you require to cancel or postpone your order prior to 2 weeks of your booking a credit minus any incurred costs will be provided towards a future booking, subject to availability.

 

If your event is cancelled or postponed within 2 weeks of your booking, we will try our best to accomodate any changes to your event date however this may not always be possible and any or all costs will be app[lied from the balance paid.
